Creating your own content can be become very challenging when you are the publisher of an ezine, or electronic newsletter. Discovering new ideas so you can churn out quality ezine content constantly is a challenge of every ezine publisher.

No matter what your ezine covers, there are four types of content categories. You can choose from

* information which is factual, like a news story or a product review,

* tips and hints about a particular subject

* mini stories which could include testimonials or someone’s personal experience

* case studies which can be done by an authority or expert if not yourself.

If you don’t want to be continually searching your creative juices writing your own content, there are other quick and easy ways to find good quality articles to keep your readers happy.

* You can arrange an interview with an expert in your ezine’s field and transcribe or summarise the interview. Quite often the interviews can be done for free or very little cost as you are giving them good publicity (especially if you have a large readership).

* If you are prepared to spend money for your content, you can hire a ghost-writer who will write for you and you can put your name on the resulting articles. Try elance.com to find ghost-writers.

* A second option is to use PLR (Private Label Rights) content that you can buy from wholesalers. These are articles written by others but they sell you the right to relabel them as your own.

* Thirdly, you can find articles and information in the public domain. The public domain is anything that does not have copyright on it. Check your country’s rules before heading down this path. In Australia, any copyright remains 75 years AFTER the author’s death. It varies from country to country. It applies to articles, books, reports, white papers, photographs, drawings, artworks etc.

The choice to repackage public domain content can save you a lot of time in thinking up new ideas, and in fact may create new ones. And of course, it has the advantage of being free.

* For a fourth option, you can browse sites such as EzineArticles.com, GoArticles.com and many others (do a Google search). The articles in most cases are available for reprint as long as the resource box is kept at the bottom of the article.
