Learning to blog is really very easy but before you race out and start one, you have to ask why you want one and do you have the dedication to keep one going?
Blogging requires dedication, because you need to post something every day, or at least a few times a week at the very least. Blogs come in all shapes and forms, from business to personal thoughts and everything in between. A blog can be like a diary that you let others read, or it can be a place to promote products and services.
Starting up a blog is simple. Choose between paid or free hosting. You can use places such as Google’s Blogger, or Worpress to create a free blog, or host your own with your own domain name. What you do depends on what you want to achieve with your blog.
Consider the audience you want to address with your blog and think about how you are going to tell them about your blog posts. Maybe you’re satisfied just to write and it’s not a big deal if others find it. Maybe you want to make money with your blog. It’s up to you.
Blogging should be constructive and interesting to your target audience.
Blogs should be easy to read and not overly technical. If you have technical information to impart, link to it within your blog post for those who are interested.
Keep your blog cheerful and add photographs, videos or audio to keep your audience interested.
Allow comments on your posts to let your readers interact with you.
No matter why you want to blog, if you have a passionate interest in your subject and the enthusiasm and dedication to keep writing, you can do it.
