How To Tweet To Twitter From Your Email

Have you ever wondered if there is another way to send your tweets to Twitter?

You can send your tweets to Twitter by email and there are several different programs that will help you to do this.

The simplest one I’ve found to use is with the free program, TwitterCounter.

As soon as you log in, you’ll see a screen like the one below.

The second tab from the left is called TwitterMail. That’s where you can set up your personal email address so you can send email to Twitter.

HINT: Do not call this account something easy to use, like your name @ twittermail.com. It needs to be something that isn’t easy to guess, or you might find someone is sending emails to Twitter, claiming that they’re you!

(That’s not my Twittermail address, so it won’t work if you try to use it!) All you have to do is think up a unique Twittermail address, and enter your Twitter password.

The next line is the “cut off phrase”. This is text you can add to your email that will stop anything else being posted after it – for example, the automatic signature you have on all your outgoing emails. Just make sure this field is something you’re not going to ever type into a Twitter message. Something like <end> would be good.

The final option is “What to Tweet”. You have the choice of “message body”, “subject line”, “subject line and message body”. That’s up to you and perhaps how your email software works.

That’s it.

Follow these quick and simple steps and you’ve got yourself a email account to send messages to Twitter.

  3. Even mostly i ‘m curious the ways in which Twitter makes money and carry this traffic it’s a hands down winner compared with Facebook that starts to look as an old vegie dinosaur waiting for the wave of the meteor to loose ground.
