How To Profit From Your Old Articles With Recycling

Being green is the ‘right thing’ to do, so keep up your recycling efforts by making your old articles into brand new, profit producing products!

It’s easy to profit from your old articles by recycling them and using them again to further promote your website. Just revamp them into a new promotional product.

Learn how to market your articles more effectively

Try turning them into e-courses or mini reports. You’ll get new life out of old articles, you’ll get something new to offer to your mailing list and your website visitors and you’ll get new customers.

So how do you turn your articles into a profitable marketing product?

  1. Look through all the articles you have written and sort them into common groups. For example, I write articles about article publishing, ezine publishing, opt-in list building, traffic building, blogs, Pay Per Click, Adsense and Search Engine Optimization.Articles can be easily grouped into each of those subjects and become a focused series. With your new series, you almost have a brand new marketing tool at your fingertips, but before you can use them, there are a few more steps to follow.
  2. Once you transform your old articles and gather them together to form an e-mail course, you add a more focused learning dimension to them. For this, you’re able to create a new and effective marketing tool.
  3. To produce a good quality mini-course you need three to five articles. For an in-depth course, you need a minimum of six articles or more.
  4. If you’ve produced good quality list type articles, like the ‘top five ways to’ or ‘ten tips to’, then you may find you have a course almost ready. If your tips are over two paragraphs each, then you can send a single tip each day. If your tips are short, a single paragraph or a sentence or two, you can consider sending two or three each day in a single email. As you can see, a ‘ten tips’ article then becomes a three day mini-course.
  5. Once your articles are grouped together, you need to read through them and see if they can be placed into a logical order and maintain a flow from one idea to the next.
  6. Read your articles critically and see if they are automatically suitable as individual lessons or if some of them appear to be assignments, with specific instructions of what to do for xyz. You may need to break up some articles into two parts, with the general information first and the how to’s as second. As you can see, if you have three articles, you now have a three day course almost ready to go.
  7. Check the style of writing you’ve used. Are your articles purely factual and written entirely in the third person, or have you created ‘personal’ styled articles where you’ve added your own style and perhaps personal stories? If you’ve created third person articles, go ahead and personalise them. People prefer to receive emails from friends. Keep your course light and friendly.
  8. Your next step is to add products and resources at the end of each article. You could offer another ecourse, or report made from more of your old articles, or you could promote a particular product of your own or an affiliate marketing product.
    • Don’t confuse your readers too much, stick with one product over the entire course and keep offering it to them.
    • Choose where in your course you’ll add your promotions and then keep it consistent throughout your course.
    • Don’t place advertising at the start, middle and end of your course as your subscribers want content not ads.
  9. Check your course over and ensure it makes sense and flows well. When you’ve finished reading it through, start again. Run it through a spelling and grammar check. Click on every single link you put in your course and make sure they work. There is nothing more frustrating for your subscriber than discovering a link doesn’t work. It also makes you look unprofessional.
  10. Choose how your course is to be delivered – in HTML or text only? Perhaps you’d rather create your ‘lessons’ into PDF documents and allow your subscribers to download one a day? The benefit of that is your course may well be shared around. (Make certain you put your website address as a footer on every single page).

It’s also good for your subscribers to download and keep conveniently on their computer and it stops the SPAM checkers from deciding your content is junk mail. The negative about choosing to have your course as PDF documents is that your subscribers may not bother to click on the link to download them.

HTML may have issues with SPAM blockers deciding they are junk. Use the SPAM checker on your autoresponder.Avoid words such as free, money and sale in your content as they drive up the SPAM scores. Try to keep your SPAM score very low.

  11. Once you’ve got your course ready and planned out into days, it’s time to place it into an autoresponder so it will be delivered automatically to everyone who subscribes. It’s your choice if you use a free responder or a paid one. I prefer GetResponse, which also has a free option, but only for a very small group of subscribers. Choose how often your modules are going to your subscribers – one a day or one every two to three days is normal.
  12. Test your course by signing yourself up before you promote it to the world. Ask a friend to help you by doing the same. When it’s all been tested, it’s time for you to tell the world about your new product.

So there you have it, a series of simple steps you can do in a few hours that will really make profits from your old articles with recycling.

Get more bonuses to add to your course with free resale rights, free giveaway rights and free PLR in the Diamond Sales Mega Pack, plus you’ll learn everything you ever wanted to know about making money online with your website. You’ll save over 99% and $2000 on 70 products.
